Old Blue was founded in 2010 by New Hampshire artists who wanted to work under one name. We are a group of independent artists creating drawings and posters. We are inspired by folk art and music. The artists are:
-Nate Twombly: is an illustrator working out of Danville, N.H. A graduate of New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2009. He lives with his cats and his collection of Criterion Collection Dvd's. He is going to be part of a group show at Sharon Arts Center called "Creatures: Real & Imagined" in May.
-Evan Benoit: is an illustrator and graphic designer working out of Laconia, NH. A Graduate of the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2010 with a BFA in Illustration, Evan spends most of his time making art and playing guitar. An avid fan of music, sports and good times, Benoit tries his best to be a charming and humorous fellow, even if he fails more times than not (at least he tries hard).
-Kenny Duquet: is an illustrator working and attending school in Manchester, NH. In between eating and sleeping he's usually frowning at his drawings. He'll be self-publishing two small comics called 'Golden Key' and 'Twist Ending' at the start of Fall 2010.
